Ronan O’Hora is firmly established as one of Britain’s leading pianists. He
has performed extensively in every major country in Europe and in the US,
Canada, and South Africa with such orchestras as the London Philharmonic,
Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields,
and Netherlands Radio Chamber Orchestra. His performances have been
broadcast many times on television and radio, including a televised recital at
the Chopin Society in Warsaw, a performance of Beethoven’s Fourth Piano
Concerto with the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra for the Dutch TV
series Young Artists on the Concert Platform, two televised concerts of Mozart
chamber music for BBC TV, and countless performances with BBC Radio 3.
Jonathan Carney comes from a unique musical family background. As all
six members of his family graduated from the Juilliard School in New York,
music was a constant influence from an early age. Carney is an avid exponent
of 20th-century music, and his repertoire includes works by Bruno Maderna,
John Cage, and William Bolcum.
